Independent switches manage the white, blue, and green beams, while a third switch controls the white and anti-glare red ARC280™ light that surrounds the face of the headlamp.

At its peak performance, the RL35R can produce a 1000-lumen beam that reaches up to 613 feet. To prevent accidental power drainage, the center power switch can be held down for three seconds to engage the lockout feature.

The silicone-lined COAST Ultra-Strap™ is made of breathable mesh, ensuring long-lasting, non-slip fit even as it supports the COAST ZITHION-X™ ZX850 rechargeable battery pack at the rear. Equipped with a USB-C in/out port, the battery pack can be recharged or used as a power bank to charge other devices. COAST Rechargeable Plus technology allows the headlamp to run for up to 14 hours on a single charge or on two CR123 disposable lithium batteries (purchased separately).
